The girls next door bought a pumpkin on OCT 1, 2007. He become one of their roommates. Mary Ann drew a face on it, and he became a friend. HE loved to dress up and laugh and hang out. HE finally went back into the earth to where he came from today.....
=] Since the pumpkin had lasted sooo long they thought they should give him a proper burail. we were all invited. They all wore black to church for black sunday. then we went home and got ready for the funeral. It took place behind our apartment. Kali bought black netting to make into hats. Lyndee made the program. sarah played the organ ( the keyboard). I helped set up chairs. emily's boyfriend dug the grave. Jason and this kid nick were the casket carriers. We had a processions to the grave while sarah played the organ. Lyndee was the conducter. Kali read a poem. Emily gave his life story. Molli and lyndee did the musical number. Mary Ann read the poems she made up about him. After the funeral jason covered the grave.
There are videos of the whole funeral but the interent is not allowing me to upload them. So pictures are going to have to do.
This is by far the greatest memory of EAC!! IT was the funnest thing we have ever done!!!

Picture fun
Jess (roommate) had one of her friends come down for her spring break. One night we took her to have sobe bombs. We took roommate pictures but the last one didn't turn out that great so we thought we'd take another one.
Joel had brought bbq mild wings out with him so we sat and ate them. Then sarah wanted to take a picture. The only light was the bonfire and the full moon. I wiped my mouth and asked joel if there was any sauce on my face. He said no so i took the picture.
My camera's screen is broken so i just have to take a picture and see how it turned out later. Well we when put it my computer.... we saw a cute picture... and krystal with wing sauce all over my face. It's pretty much the greatest picture i've ever taken!!!
( if you can't see it, click on it to make it bigger. It's pretty amazing!)

Shooting
around the start of the semester joel went on a double date with his friend landon from work. I wasn't in town yet so landon set up a blind date. They went shooting. ever since then joel has fallen in love with going out and shooting the guns. Landon wanted to go on dates every weekend so joel said that we would go with them whenever he wanted. One weekend (ground hogs day to be exact) we had a date planned. I was excited cuz i thought i was going to get to go shoot the guns. NOPE i got to go on the lame date of dinner and movie.. we watched ground hogs day.
ever since then i've wanted to go but landon stopped asking girls on dates each weekend. joel would still go out with him and shoot every once in awhile but i wasn't invited.
So finally i just asked landon myself. He said he would take me out. so we went after class on thursday. We went out to where they always go, about 15 mins out of town. They had clay pigons to shoot. I had never done that before. An landon had shoot guns which i'm not really familair with either. I was able to shoot one of the clay pigons which made me happy. I couldn't get the little thing that flings them to do it though. BUt it was a lot of fun!!!

Easter fun
My first graders had a easter egg hunt/ picinic planned for last thursday. Since this is a small town, everyone brought in 4 hard boiled eggs that they decorated. Then these two ladies and myself went to the town park and "hide the eggs." i put "" because all we did was roll them out into the grass. There had to be at over 400 eggs and the park has trees but it's mostly grass so there was no hiding them.
I sat and waited for them at the park and all the first grade classes walked to the park.. it's about a mile from the school.
ONce all the kids got there they were released to pick the eggs they wanted. One little girl came up to me crying saying she couldn't find any eggs. i quickly caught my laugh then took her and pointed to ALL the eggs still left on the ground.
My teacher had a blanket laid out and she got me a paper bag lunch from the school. All the kids brought their lunch and we sat and ate. MOst of them ate their eggs. Some saved them. Some kids even forgot to cook the eggs so we had some big messes.
After we ate we still had about an hour and 15 mins left to play. One little boy brought a soccer ball and the little boys were kicking it back and forth. Soccer is big for all the little kids up here. I was sitting on the blanket and realized i had to "an adult". i thought that was lame so after a few minutes i got up and stole the ball from this little kid then it was on! the little boys thought it was amazing that i knew how to play soccer. This little kid even slide tackled me and took me out. He thought that it was sooo funny!! The girls saw me playing so came to my aid to give me a team. There were 2 little girls that played the whole time and like 10 little boys. The boys wanted it to be boys against girls. We played the whole hour and 15 mins. If i didn't run the little kids would yell at me and tell me i was lazy and that i needed to get the ball. they didn't let me stop the whole time.
Some of the kids were really really good. Some kept picking the ball up. I had to keep telling them that they weren't the keepers and hand ball weren't allowed. After about 15 mins they stopped picking up... as much. I scored major points with everyone. even the teachers and princpal were happy that i played with them. All the little kids love me even more. Now kids from other classes love me. After it was time to go they all walked back and i still had to work. I went into a class room to ask the teacher something and this little boy yelled " HEY YOU"RE THE ONE THAT PLAYED SOCCER WITH US!!" I just laughed and said yes that's me and smiled at him. his teacher then said, "yeah she's so cool huh?" and little boy responded by saying, " yeah the coolest!". =] I LOVE MY JOB!!!
The picture is the easter baskets the kids got to make. i wasn't there the day they made them cuz i had to get on the airplane but my teacher made me one, and a little girl make the carrot, bunny, and chick for me. I have the greatest job ever!!!

S*R*I*N*G B*R*E*A*K
This was a super fun spring break!!! I had so much fun hanging out with the HOWARDS and the CALLS!!!
I had so much fun playing with my niece Lili on the beach. she was a blast to play in the water. She's a little fish and loves to play in the waves. My nephew Nate and niece Kaci love the water as well. Kaci was sooo cute in the water. she laughed the entire time. I mostly played on the beach with baby nate. He is so much fun. FOr some reason both lili and nate think that if you build a sand castle or write in the sand, it's their job to mess it up or destroy it. After i realized that they would go out of their way to mess up my creations, i started making stuff just for them to mess up.
THANKS KIM KERRI BRAD NATE LILI NATE AND KACI!!!
I have the greatest family ever!!!

Diamond head
Kerri asked if there was anything else i wanted to do while in hawaii. I had already gone to the beach i wanted to go too... but everyone always talks about diamond head. I had never been so kerri said she would hike it with me.
We got up on sat and went to st patrick's day shindig. They fed us breakfast but before that we had to go on a savenger hunt. We had to find like 19 green items. The prize was a $20 gift card to walmart!!! Kerri and i meant business!! We went and got stuff from her apartment, then her next door neighbors and kim's place. we ended up getting 15 items. We tied for 3rd place. We got the gift card and kerri got to pick 2 items from the door prizes like paper towels and toothpaste. We had a tons of fun!!!
Then we got on the bus. We went about 2 hours then transfered then about another hmm hour to the hike. We then hiked .8 miles up the volanic crater. It wasn't a hard hike but there was one spot with 99 stairs. KAci did really well. THe weather was nice too. The top was way pretty and way worth it!!! After we cooled off ( it was windy up there!!) we hiked back down. We got on the bus and instead of getting of at the transfer spot we stopped and had an acai cup at jumba jucie and fish n chips at jack in the box. Kerri not wanting to spend 2 more dollars said that we should walk to the tranfer spot. she thought it was way closer.. it took us about an hour to walk to it. WE then had another 2 hour ride home and a 10 min walk from the bus stop. Lets just say we were a little dirty and a little tired by the time we got in (8 at night we left at 12) but i fully enjoyed it!!! KAci did sooo soo soo well. she only cried likee 3 times and for like 30 secs each time. She was amazing!!!!

Turtle bay
Kim and i took lili and nate to turtle bay for a cooking class. Every friday they cook some fancy meal and you can watch then sample it.
This time they made shrimp Dumpling with a citrus soy reduction. IT was really realy really yummy! that was the first time that i actually wanted to try and make.
I have always got that i look older then kerri. People always think i'm the older one. We all wondered which one looked the oldest? Kim? kerri? or me? We were going to ask some stranger to see what they said but never got around to it. While we were at turtle bay we kind of got an answer. I was holding baby nate and kim was pushing lili. We walking to the cooking area and one of the cooks came over and said they were doing a wine tasting as well and we could have some if we liked. I said no thank you! Kim was standing next to me but he was looking and talking to me, for the both of us.. so it seemed. Then a few minutes later he came over with two glasses of wine. he walked passed kim and went to hand me the glass. I said oh no thank you! Then he turned to kim and she said no.
I think we kind of had the answer. i'm not even old enough to drink and the guy was talking to me as if i was the oldest. PLus i even had the baby. In kim's defense she did have her hair in pigtails.
Sad day to know that the youngest is mistaken for being the oldest!!! theres like a 5year gap!! i'm going to be an old lady when i'm 30!!! One of kim's friends did say she thought i could be in high school.. but that was only because she knew i was here for spring break so she just thought high school.

Waimea beach!!!
Kim, Kerri and i with the babies got on the bus and FINALLY went to waimea beach. i have been wanting to go to since i first went to hawaii back in dec 06. The beach is soo pretty and it's really hard to get a parking spot so we just took the bus and played on the beach. Lili of course wanted to go into the water so took her out... I totally disregarded the signs that said "strong tide, large waves". Lili and i went out and i had to swim to keep us above the water but it wasn't bad. THEN a HUGE 10 foot (no kidding) wave came. I tried to stop it with my hands but for some reason it didn't work and lili and i had to go through it rather then get rocked! i swam with all my might to get us out of the wave and held on to lili with all my strength. Once we got out of the water we thought it would be better to go play where there wasn't any waves. We took the kids down and kim went in with lili while i played with baby nate and kerri help kaci who had fallen asleep. Nate wanted to play in the water so i help him on the beach just enough to where the water would come up but not suck us back in or be to deep. we were having fun playing until a huge wave came and made the water level go really really high. I wasn't ready for such a big wave to bring in all that water so all i could do was pick baby nate up. With holding him in the air the water was so much that it pushed me over. All kerri ( who had then joined us at the water) and kim could see were my legs in the air along with baby nate. Kerri got a huge laugh out of it. The wave was so big that it twisted me around and started sucking me. I still had hold of nate so i was get sucked in against my will. I had to fight to get my feet under me while still keeping nate out of the water. Kerri and kim thought it was pretty funny. My hair got plastered with sand though. I had no clue until we had hiked up to a shop to eat acai. It then started to fall out in bucket loads whenever i touched my head. Sadly, there is still sand in my hair, i don't think it will ever truly leave. BUT it was all worth it to finally get to the beach!!!

My nieces and nephew
So i got a sewing machine for christmas. Kerri said I oculd use it to sew kaci a dress for easter. I thought that it would be a fun adventure so i took the challenge. Kim heard about it through my blog and then basically told me i had to do the same for her kids. Since i am the greatest and favorite aunt i took the challenge for doing an outfit for all of them.
Since i have never ever sewed anything from a pattern i bought the easy patterns. I found kaci's fabric but had to weigh each option because kim is crazy about how her kids look. I picked what i thought was best.
Kac's turned out alright. It wasn't to hard. Nates was the same pattern as kaci's but in pants not a dress. I wasn't sure how tall the little guy was so i just left it the length it said too. I didn't start lili's until the night before i left. I didn't finsih until 3:30 am. The picture kind of hides how bad it turned out. I made her a purse as well that looks good. Nate ended up looking like a red neck farmer baby. I think kaci's turned out the best and it was orginally for her so all is well =]

My life is on hold...
AS of now i have no clue where i'll be this summer or next semester.
Here or my options.
I can stay up in Thatcher with my roommate jessica and take my anatomy 202 online, which i will do anywhere, and work full time
I can go to school at EAC next fall and graduate with my AA.
I can be Tia's nanny and go to school and graduate with my AA.
I can go to school in Hawaii and spends lots of money.
I can move to prescott and live with my parents and get my AA.
I can ask my aunt and uncle if i can move back in and get my AA or go to school and do nursing school while finishing my AA.
I can move and get roommates and go to school somewhere in the valley and go to nursing school while finishing my AA.
I have no clue what i'm going do. I want to take my online class during the summer so i can have the same teacher and use the same books for anatomy but it's online so it's not a big deal where i am this summer. However, i want to be able to work while going to school because i want to start saving money either for a nice car, or for a misson. I'll be turning 20 years old this April (18th) and that means in a years time i can go on a mission if i chose to do it. I have no clue if i really want to go or not. I don't want to get into nursing school because i don't want to decied i want to go on a mission and have started my schooling. So working and getting my AA is what i want to do. I just want to be able to have a real job so i can start saving. That's why i'm not sure where i want to live.
Joel of course keeps bringing up the idea of getting married this summer. Yes he is still willing to go on a mission but the idea of getting married just seems soooo much better all around...
I'm praying and fasting but where i live and go to school doesn't really matter i don't think. I think that just as long as i am able to save money and finsh school, then no matter where i am, i'll be fine....

New hair!!!
My roots started going in so it was time to dye the hair again. The lady who did it did a very very good job. it was excatly what i wanted. You might not notice a difference but it's about 4 shades darker and has blonde highlights all over the top. I like it a lot. It's about the same as when i was younger. It's getting to my orginal color but i'm thinking i'm just going to progress from light back to dark. The dark hair makes my face pop i think. Everyone tells me i can pull off both colors but i like the dark. maybe not super dark but way darker then this. It will take some time to get there tho.
