My date with mark...

So i know everyone wants to know what happened with mark... So... thursday i was going to ask him out for sat to go to this YSA thing. But he ended up leaving before i got to talk to him so my friend Moncia put "hey mark i just wanted to say bye today, and hello saturday" on the board and put my name and number. I thought it was funny and clever so i left it. Later that day he texted me and said, "hello saturady! thanks for the note." we started talking and i asked if he wanted to do something on sat and he said he had a party but invited me to go with. I had to work until 9.30 so wouldn't be able to make it. he was all ok maybe some other time. The next day i texted him and then he asked how my patho class was going. i'm not taking patho.. monica is.. I was all hmmm awkard! he thinks i'm monica!! Marsha talked me into texting him back ( i was just going to avoid him from then on out haha) and i texted him ..hhah awkward.. i'm krystal not moncia... He called me and explained that he was pretty sure i was krystal but the people in the tutoring room told him moncia put it on the board. I laughed it off and was all at least we are on the same page now. He then asked me if i wanted to go to a party that night. I was like sure! He gave me the directions and then i asked if he just wanted to carpool. He was for it so after i got off work i headed over to his house (he lives in gilbert and thats where the party was) We went to the party and it was LAME! we ended playing old school nintendo then left and went to sonic. we sat in my car and talked until they turned out the lights on us.

I don't think he's into me. Which i'm ok with, even though i do like him. I realized that he was my first date that i've wanted to go on, that i tried putting together since i broke up with joel. that in itself is a BIG deal to me. I finally realized that i was over joel. It has taken me a VERY long time to get to this point but i've finally made it! I stopped talking to joel in jan and wasn't going to contact him until i finally moved on. yesterday i texted him and while we were texting was when it hit me that i wanted nothing to do with the kid and that i wasn't sad about not being his friend and that i've been so much happier without him. I didn't know when i was going to reach this point but now that i have i feel so free!! Its an amazing feeling to know that i'm over him and that i made the best choice i could by breaking up with him. I hadn't moved on so it was still hard and i still thought i had feelings for him. But i don't at all and never will again. To be honest i never thought i'd make it to his point be so happy. Just have faith and this to shall pass! always gotta remeber that!!

I do like mark, but i don't think anything is going to happen there. But for me just going out one time with him HELPED me so much that i will be forever grateful to the guy. Even if i wont ever know about it lol.

Arla's gift

Hopefully she doesn't read this before the shower.. if she even reads this at all.. but I thought i'd show my sisters what "we" got her for her shower. i'm going to be nice and put your guys name on it so you can be apart of the fun!!! The are really cool cuz they lay flat then you push them and they pop out to be the size of the measuring cup it says.. same for the strainer.. Aunt marsha and i thought they were cool! and they were bright colors!

Half Marathon!

One of my goals in life is to run a Half marathon. Crazy maybe? YES but still how cool is that to say you had the will power and determination to run for 13 miles!




As we were signing up for the cheetah run k8e asked if i ever wanted to run a half. I said OF COURSE so she looked one up , and there is one Aug 8th in flagstaff. We decied to take the leap and start training for it.These are some old pictures of us when we ran track in high school. Yes sadly we did wear these outfits to school on a track meet day! Yes my booty was in tight spandex at school! poor boys prolly didn't learn a thing that day hahah (side story... this kid at work calls me bubbles.. wonder why? lets just say my family has always told me i had a "bubble" butt... lol)


Kim this means you have to pop out that baby before i leave hawaii!!! And nate you can run with me while i'm there.. i'll be in the high milage by then but you can keep up right! =]

Running style!

I went to the movie the other week and saw an ad for a 5k run to support the cheetahs. For $20 I would get to run a 5k, get a shirt, and get to go to the zoo for the day. I'm all about getting new shirts, and i love zoo.. i also love to run!

My friend k8e from high school, we used to run track together and played soccer together, said she would run it with me! Its april 25th! I'm sooo excited!

Espanol aluguin?

Idk if i spelled that right.. but i'm taking spanish and this is my 4th year learning the langauge. I'm still not good at it at all! I can understand more of it, and in class i do really well.. but when people start talking to me i lose all of it. My mind just goes blank! i was trying to think of a way that i could learn it but out of class. I asked my bro in law nate if he thought reading the book of mormon in spanish would be a good idea (he speaks spanish lol). he approved so i went and bought a little paperback one. I started reading it, and since i know the first chapter of the book of mormon i get whats going on. I'm adding reading in spanish and learning whats happening to my scripture study. I figured while i'm learning i can be studying too right! We'll see how it works. nate gave me a exersice to do while i'm reading it so i'm going to give it a try!

My friend from work and I wanted to get out toes done so after our shift we headed over and relaxed while the ppl worked their magic. I got checker boards on mine and thought they turned out really cute!

Victoria's Secrete

MOm and I went shopping after buying the car. Mom had seen a commerical about the Prefect Bra and victoria's secret so she wanted to see it. We went in and the lady asked if she wanted to be measured. I had never done it so i wanted to! she mesured mom then me. She said i was a 36 C. HAHAH sure... i tried on the 36 B just to be safe.


This is me in my prefect bra. Nice huh! It really is the prefect bra! it fits amazing and i feel in love as soon as i put it on.
Mom was being a little shy so we didn't take her head shot but this is her trying on bra's. after We tried them all on she liked one (and old lady one that i didn't like) and i like my prefect bra. Both of us had never had a bra from victoria's secret before. i figured mom needed to have at least one in her life... and that i didn't want to have to wait til i was 49 to get one from there, so i bought one for her. HAPPY way EARLY mother's day mom!! =]

Introducing....

Cami... or Goldie locks. I haven't picked yet but i really like Cami. any ideas shoot them over!
Dad was able to get this steal of a car for only $200. Thankfully I have a J-O-B and was able to buy her. She is in pretty good shape. I love her!!! I am sad that Sundance is no more, but i got a VERY good upgrade.
She looks a little old lady inside (you can't really tell from the pic sorry) Funny story about the seat belt. The day before i went up to Prescott to pick her up i had a dream about having a car with seat belts that go over you automatically. I thought it was strange since i've never had a car like that. Then when i saw her and the seat belt i was like HEY it was meant to be!!!


Some of the upgrade this car has from Sundance... 1. She is automatic locks! 2. Automatic windows! 3. Cruise control! 4. Window washer button that sprays water on the window! 5. pop gas tank! and the best part about her......

SHE HAS AIR CONDITIONING!!!!!! it works really really really well too!!! I use it all the time.. even if its not hot out!!! i love it! i have never had a car with working a/c. That upgrade only is sooooo worth it! I am one blessed lady! I'm offically old too. I bought my first car! Even though it wasn't like buying a new car, I still bought it! It makes me happy to keep growing up... and not too fast either!

Photo Savenger Hunt

Bre came out to Mesa and we all headed out to Mill Ave to do a photo sevenger hunt.



WE had to ask an employee for his john hancock and we picked the hottest one.. didn't think to take a picture with him though... next time

we had to find a waterfall.. believe it or not this is acutally a waterfall on mill ave

We had to get a picture with someone playing an instrument and i ran up to this street preformer and bre took our picture. The ppl got us on their video camera hahaha

we wanted to see who had the biggest mouth. i think bre and i tied!

Bre cliff and syl had never been on the light rail so we thought we would jump on!

We were all very excited about going on the light rail... we got on around 11 and weren't sure when it closed down for the night. We got on of course i'm a VERY loud person so i'm talking and looking for a gas station (long story) and the guy across from us asked why we wanted one. we explained that we were doing a photo savenger hunt and he was like oh cool. We passed like 3 stations and i was still being loud (not that i knew until.. ) then the guys asked us if we were going to phx to stay for the night. we said no we wanted to get back to mill cuz thats where our car was parked. Then every one on the rail started laughing and said that the rail leaves each station at 11 and if you don't catch the rail you'll be stuck where ever you get off. We started laughing and freaking out just a little... everyone on the rail started to tell us about their stories of being stranded while we waited to get to the next station to get off.

SPRING BREAK in prescott

I got 3 days off of work so we headed up to prescott to play! Dad was bored so we headed over to play mini golf.



Brooke thought she was playing golf at a real course and whacked the ball all the way into the parking lot!!!



Brooke was the first one to get a hole in one! she got it on the 2nd hole!

St. patricks day

Sarah and I had planned on going to a st. patricks YSA dance thing... but then ended up meeting a friend at in-n-out burger and then watching a movie. WE did get one picture in our green.. (i'm wearing brooke's shirt.. doesn't it look good!!)
