my last day at sears i was lucky enough to be in a fashion show!! every year the mall does a back to school fashion show and each stores gets models to show off their clothing line. i was asked to be apart of it, and as you all know, i'm a ham and love doing that kind of stuff. One of the girls picked out my outfit. we got to keep the clothes and buy the shoes for $10!!! sweet deal!!!! I'm glad that jobs over, don't go into retail. it's no bueno!!!
The sad thing was it was a back to school fashion show. When i came out the announcer said, Sears even has back to school clothes for teachers. =[ sad day! i look like a teacher!! ahh well i get mistaken for old all the time...
whose older??

My sewing talents
On the 4th i was playing with my cousins and happened to be wearing a pair of jeans that i had bought when i was a sophmore in high school. I love those capris but while playing i got a whole in the knee. instead of throwing away my amazing pants, i made a purse out of them!!! my mom cut the pattern and told me what to sew. i sat the the machince sewing while she cut and put it together. It turned out sooo soo soo cute!!! i love it! i found the perfect materail for it too!!!

Weber State University
I am attending WSU this fall!!!!!
I received a scholarship from the BHHS Legacy for $4,500. CAN YOU BELIEVE IT?!?!? I was very excited and made up my mind that i would be attedning WSU the minute i heard i was getting the scholarship!
We have a friend in Ogden, Utah (which is where the school is) and had his help for finding a place to live. I looked on craigslist, and found the perfect place to live. Its a mile from the school, a mile from Sears, which is where i'm working now and will be transfering. I'll have my own room and will be living with 2 other girls. The rent is the cheapest i found and the girl i'm renting from seems very nice.
My sister is living in Utah with my bro-in-laws family for the summer so they Calls were so very nice and went to Ogden to pay my deposit and take a video of my new home. They also checked out the school and the mall for me.
My parents and i will be going up to Prescott around the 23rd of july. We wanted to get there for my nieces 1st birthday on the 26th.
I am so very very very excited!!!!!

I"M GOING TO MISS MY JOB

This year, working at the elemantry school, was my all time favorite job ever!!! When i told joel this he asked if i changed my mind and wanted to be a teacher now. I said NO WAY. i've seen what it takes to teach 1st graders and my brains are not set up to be a teacher.
On friday we had out track and feild day. Those were my all time favorite days in middle school. In juinor high we got to go to Alhambra High School and run on the track against other schools. We also had the track and feild day at our schools against all the kids in our grade. My proudest moment in 6th grade was getting the high score for the girls. I was the best athlet out of all the 6th grade girls. that made my track years the best!!!
I don't remember doing track day when i was in first grade but it was fun to teach my first graders. I taught them how to do long jump. And tri-hop and how to run a relay. I had a blast being apart of their track memories.
Firday was my last day of work since i have finals on monday and tuesday then tuesday i'm moving out of my apartment and heading to my aunts til kerri and brad get in then heading to my parents for the summer.
My class made me a book with pictures and every kid wrote me a letter. I will forever cherish the things they told me in those letters. they also got me a minnie mouse watch "for all the time i spent with them." and they gave me starburst "because i'm a star for helping them".
I'm going to miss my 1st graders and my teacher!!!!

End of school year
My class regular class at Eastern Arizona was on friday.
No matter how long i've been in school the first day is always so exciting. I always wake up too early in the morning and start getting ready which doesn't take long because i lay my brand new outfit and night before. Then i end up walking around my house, or apartment until it's time to leave. I end up leaving to early and get to school and sit at my new spot which i will sit in every day for the rest of the year for ten minutes and school begins.
Then the end of the school year comes and i'm very excited. I think of all that i've learned.. i think of all that i've done. and i always get a tiny bit sad.
If you talk to me during the year i comment that i can't wait for it to be over. I say ugh like i'm even learning anything. Then at the end of the year i'm so glad it's over, i just need a summer break. But really i'm sad. YES i'm glad classes are over. i'm glad learning in a school sense is done and i get 3 months off. BUt deep down i love to learn and love being in school. What will my years be like when i'm not a full time student. I'm going to miss the start of school and the end of school.
Enough blah blahh blahing.. I'm glad for this year and i'll i learned.
This was my hardest semester that i had taken in school. i like to think that i got through with flying colors =]
Going into the finals which are on monday and tuesday, in anatomy my favorite class ever, i have a 96.4%!!!!! This is the very most exciting thing for me this semester. EVERYONE told me how hard this class was! Not to brag but i'm so thankful that it all just makes sense in my brain and that i have an A and will get an A in the class... always a good thing since i'm going to be a nurse. In nutrition i have an A as well. no surprise there since i already took a nutrition class but it was only a 100 not a 200 course so i had to retake it. I'm just glad i made it through all the very boring and lame classes. In my work out class i got 30 vists and 34 hours so i will have an A in there too. In my pharmacology class sadly i think i'll be gettting a B. BUT i'm ok with a B because that class really is the hardest class i've ever taken and a lot of things to rememeber. I understand everything but if you gave me the pills you were taking i don't think i'd be able to figure out what you were taking them for. except my sister kerri becuase i know she has asthma and when we learned about that i paid close attention because i've been around her drugs my whole life which are the only drugs i've ever been around so i wanted to understand what she takes and why. So all in all i should end up with 3 A's and one B. IF all goes to plan =] =] =]

Update on Scholarship
SO I went down to Phoenix to get my $900 at the Board meeting where they give out the scholarships, and when i sat down to look at my check i got a little surprise..
Instead of a check it said, "congradulations! You have been choosen to recieve the BHHS legacy foundation scholarship."
I was very surprised. Now i have to fill out a financil need paper and then go in for an interview and they will let me know sometime in JUNE if i got it and how much i'll receive. Then i'll have to attend another award ceramony.
I'm thinking if they give me a lot then i might just go to Weber State University next fall. I've already been excepted and it might get paid for if i get FAFSA and a big scholarship!!!!!
Well see what happens =]
