YES this week we had an amazingly horrible nightmare happen to us four girls!!!

It was i think monday night and i was sleeping. Then all of a sudden i heard this LOUD screeching yell come from sarah. I had no clue what she was doing. I laid there listening then i heard my roommate kali start to scream. i was just thinking they were being crazy cuz it was late... 1:30 am!!! They were screaming for awhile and finally i got up to tell them to SHUT UP! as i came out of my room i see Kali shuddering next to the wall Sarah in the bathroom shaking and my roommate Sylvia's eyes peeping over the shower curtain. Kali started saying, " don't tell her! Don't tell her!!" Then sarah says, " there is a huge roach and we don't know where it went." Kali immediately said, " it's ok we'll find it you can still live here!!!" lol i was so tired i just went back in to my room. They kept screaming so i came out. Right as i got to the bathroom door i see hear the door slam shut, Sylvia running into her room with her towel one, kali and sarah holding each other. Sarah opens the door and A HUGE HUGE HUGE roach falls dead on the floor!

Me being half asleep, i went into the kitchen and immediately starting pouring bleach down all the drains. Then it hit me how HUGE it was and i fully wake up thinking if there were more!!! So syliva got dressed and we rushed to wal mart at 2 in that morning and bought the MEGA size roach motels and the biggest thing of raid. We got back and Sylvia sprayed the whole apartment and all the way around outside the apartment. We had to let the place air out so we didn't die along side the roaches. WE didn't end up going to sleep til about 3:30 that morning.

Since then i have found 4 dead roachs. I'm ok that they are dead but now clean really really really well!!!!!!!!!!

Halloween

On Oct 1st sarah joel and i went to the store and got halloween decorations. we are poor so we didn't get much but enough to have some halloween spirit!!! We got all my stuff to be tinkerbell but haven't made it yet... Idk how's it's going to turn out but we'll see.. Sarah keeps changing her mind so i don't know what she's going to be. I'm excited for the halloween parties tho! it's going to be a blast!! Joel is going to be a police man. (He doesn't really like to shave but i told him to shave before i came home from hawaii. while he was in the process of shaving he wanted to see what he'd look like with a mustache. He looked lets say.... nasty!!!! thankfully he shaved it off before i got home. However, he thought it was cool so he's going to grow a mustache for his costume as a cop.) He makes me laugh but as soon as halloween is over it's coming off. We'll take picture so you know what i mean =]

Conference =]

This conference was very very good!! Since we don't have television i just listened to to it on my laptop. For some reason it wasn't letting me watch it but listening to it seemed to be much better for me. On sat i was able to clean the apartment while listening to it. then today i was able to make waffles and hash browns. Then for the afternoon session i just doodled while i listened to it. Listen and being able to see them talk helped to focus more on what they were saying. I really liked the talk about science and the truth. I also love all the funny little jokes they say too. Any one else excited as much i was that elder Eyring is the 2nd counselor??? I didn't get to see what elder cook looks like but i like him!!

I can't wait for the ensign to come out so i can read them again. So many hit home and made me ponder. How wonderful it is that we are able to have prophets in the latter days to help to guide us to always CTR! Man it's great!!! I"m so grateful i was able to listen to it and learn!!

School work

In my public speaking class i have to give an impromptu speech. everyone in the class puts a general topic on anything they can think of. Then the day we have to do our speech we get a topic and we have 10 mins to write an outline then we have to deliver our speech. The first topic i got was on acting. i had no clue what to talk about. This was the only speech we were allowed to make stuff up. Thankfully i didn't end up having to give it because we ran out of time. Then on wed i got my another topic.... cheese. I had no clue what i was going to talk about. As i sat there trying to make an outline for a speech i thought of reading rainbow and i remember seeing one on how cheese was made. So i did my speech on how cheese is made and the different cheese we eat. When you guys see it, your going to laugh!! I had no clue on the real process so i made the whole thing up. Having chemistry earlier that day i used chemicals that he says all the time and afterwards this kids was all, i'd never eat that cheese, it's full of acids!!! haahah i wasn't sure what chemicals i was using i just had to make it sound real. I made the whole class laugh and i wasn't even trying. It turned out ok tho, i got a 92 on it =] hardly anyone in the class got an A. Now i'm working on my informative speech we have to give in 2 weeks. This one i can't make stuff up and it's one of the BIG speeches we have to give. My topic is how to be healthy. It's not a hard topic but it's no fun trying to write the speech.

Chemistry is going alright. right now i have a B in the class but there are only like 3 people who have A's. Our teacher is a very old man and he doesn't really know what he wants to do. i did have a C but then everyone cried to him about his LAME test so he changed all of our grades and now he's giving us easier test. Lab is fun! I sit with a bunch of girls and they are all clueless but they are tons of fun. It's a good thing i took chemistry in high school or our group would be completely lost!!

Development psy is still my favorite class. I'm learning tons of new stuff and my teacher is a trip. She makes me laugh and it's easy to pay attention in her class. I'm still ranked #1 in the class but we just took a quiz this week so we'll see next week if i got another 100% or not. Her test are easy because 1 i love the lectures and always take notes and i do the review quizzes she gives us. They take forever but 3/4 of the test are all the same questions as on the review quizzes so it's worth it.

I like my marriage and family class. It's fun to see how everyone feels about different aspects of relationships. I sit next to this lady that's married and has 3 kids. she bothers me but i sometimes like to hear what she has to say. there are about 3 newlyweds in the class and one kid is married and has a kid. There is one couple taking the class together and it's fun to hear them comment on stuff. I'm one of the only ones that isn't single. Sometimes the class is lame because they take things to extreme when in real life it doesn't happen the way they make it out. But the single people are the ones who voice their opinion the most and they don't know what they are talking about. My teacher is LDS so i like to hear his opinions too.

ROOMMATE SARAH

OH man is it fun living with sarah. It feels just like sharing a room with kerri and or kim again. It's always a ton of fun. We pick on each other soo much. I'm such a brat to her! This guy came over that she has class with and she thinks he's kind of cute. They were talking about this book they had to read and i was laying on the couch in the living room and in a baby voice yelled " SARAH can you bring me a blanket.. i'm cooooold!!" She came out threw a blanket at me and went back to the kid. Then they were in the kitchen talking and i kept yelling her name. She would answer. i was all... i know you can hear me!!!! So she came into the living and in my baby voiced asked "can you get me some water... i'm thirsty!!" lol she rolled her eyes and got me some water. The guy just laughed and left. hahahah it's was dang funny if you ask me.

The other day we were sitting watching a movie and sarah was getting ready to go to work. she sat down to talk to us for a bit and her and joel were picking on me. I had a glass of water and didn't feel like drinking it so i threw half a cup of of cold water right into her face. IT WAS SOOOO FUNNY!!! she was soaking wet!!! She just sat there in shock!!! hahaahah!! Then last night joel was over and i was really hyper and had another glass of cold water so i threw it in his face. HAHAHA!! He got me back! Then he went to the rest room and i filled up 2 glasses and drenched him!!! he got me again. then we started watching a movie and sarah came into the living room to watch it and had a Popsicle. I asked her to get me one and joel did too. So she went back into the kitchen. all of a sudden i hear the water running and i wasn't wondering why she was getting water and not my Popsicle. I just sat there on the couch with joel and the next thing i know a pitcher of water is being poured alllll over me and joel. I got most of it tho!! i was soaking wet and so was the couch!!! It was the funnest thing ever!!! i couldn't stop laughing!!!

We always fart on each other too. One night hahahah joel sarah and i were at wal mart getting stuff like my halloween costume and what not ( i'm going to be tinker bell =]). I had bad gas that night for some reason. It smelled really bad but we kept walking so it wasn't really effecting any of us. Then we stopped to look at these really cute halloween underwear and i let one RIP! it smelled soooooooo bad. I just sat there laughing cuz i smelt it right away!! Joel was like why are you covering your face with underwear??? then he smelt it! HE just walked away. Sarah was like what is that??? then she laughed and walked away. I couldn't stand the smell anymore i walked away laughing. Sarah being brave let stood away from it for about 30 sec then thought it would be ok to go back. She walked back into the death zone and gaged so bad she almost threw up!!!! hahaaha i fell over laughing!! It would have made my YEAR if she would have thrown up!! After the wal mart trip we went home and my roommate had her sister and exbf/friend/ whatever he is we aren't sure... over and my other roommate had 2 guys over. They wanted to play Guitar hero so i had to hold in my farts. Well the 2 guys left but the other roommate and her sister and friend were still over. I couldn't hold it tho so i just let it rip!! It smelt really bad!!!! I was in the living room and they were in the kitchen. they weren't what to do. kali and her sister just covered their face and were laughing really hard. the guy sat there with a look of disgust and kept shaking his head. Joel and sarah retreated back to the bedroom to not smell it. HAHAHAAH goood times!!!

WORK is GREAT

This week was an ehhh week. Nothing really fun went one. Just school and work.

I'm still loving my job. It's tons of fun and now that they are finally learning new stuff and are done reviewing i get to help the kids. This little kid named Kayton is really smart but he gets distracted very very easily. So i have to sit with him and everytime he's head comes up i have to remind him to keep working. This other little girl names Christina is the same way. But she is worse the Kaydon. She sit and do little crafts and walk around instead of doing her work. She'll even sit and talk to me. I listen to what she has to say then remind her to work and she continues to talk to me while she's doing it. They are all very very cute. I love it.

Also my teacher is also soooo excited to hear that i already know how to do everything. i'm going to be making these books for the 1st grade classes. You know the book that have a bunch of holes on one side and you have to bind them with the spiral plastic thing?? Well she was all worried she wouldn't have time to teach me how to do it and i said oh no problem i already know how to do it. She got very excited. I told her i've already done everything that she has me do. She was highly impressed. It's all thanks to Mrs. Crositere. (sp?) she's the one that made me come in every summer to do that stuff while in middle school. who knew i would be getting paid to do it while in college =]

I love watching the kids learn new things. This little girl Jade (she is my favorite!! her mom dress her up sooo cute and she loves me. she always has something new that she made for me each day i go in) just learned how to cut a leaf and move the paper along with the scissors so she could go all the way around. she was very excited. I love it!!! If teaching classes did STINK i would be a teacher but i guess being a aid while in college is best. I'm still looking forward to being a nurse!!! This week was all about johnny Appleseed. They did so many cute crafts for him. My hands hurt a LOT after cutting so much stuff but it was worth it!!!
