Kali made dinner for us and some boys. I came home from church and made all the posters. Those are all the true meaning of Christmas. IF you look carefully at the tree you'll see a present!! IT's for me from my roommates =] And kali is reading us a Christmas carol. She's the coolest!!!!

RAIN RAIN GO AWAY!

This weekend was a stromy one. After the dance we all came home. We kept going out and talking to ppl as they passed by. While we were out there the wind picked up! It almost knocked me over!!! Then the rain came. IT WAS POURING! Kali jumped into rain clothes and ran out to play in it. Then the girls next door wanted to play so they went puddle jumping. I stood in the door freezing watching them play!!

Winter Formal

Sarah had asked a kid to winter formal back in OCT and she was telling us about her fun date she had planned. I then wanted a date but the kid I wanted to ask couldn't go. Kali ended up getting rejected 3 times then ended up with 2 dates. I gave her one of them though.... they went to the "day date" while i stayed home. i wasn't going to go to the dance but they ended up talking me into it. I wasn't in the mood to put on my prom dress so i just put on a cute skirt that was comfy. I went with kali and her date jori( her other date broke his hand during the day date so he didn't go to the dance). At first i just sat there then this kid andy asked me to dance. After that there was no stopping me!!! We had a lot of fun. After that we got home and called joel to come play. We started playing monopoly but i fell asleep during it.

SCARY!!!!!!

Soooo on saturday sarah and i were cleaning the apartment while kali was at work. They had bought a magazine for the quizzes and it had a bunch of disney charters in it like high school musical and hannah montana. WE had the great idea of putting them all over her ceiling cuz she wouldn't be able to reach them, even with a chair!!! While we were pulling out little prank of her, we found a HUGE SPIDER!!!! it was THE scariest spider i had ever seen in my life!!!!! We weren't sure if it was alive or not. I couldn't even look at the thing. Sarah is the one that kills the bugs and she was even scared of the thing!!! So we thought of our home teachers. We went over to one of their apartments and he wasn't home. so went to the next one. He wasn't there either. WE had no boys!!!!! The people next door to Ryan's house was there so we knocked on the door. We walked in and this HOT guy was sitting there and i said, " hi i'm krystal, we have a HUGE nasty spider in our house and we can't find out home teachers, can you come kill it for us?!?!" He kind of looked at us funny, but said yeah. So he came killed and conquered!!!

OH Christmas tree oh Christmas tree!

Christmas time is finally here =] Monday night rolled around and we were all sitting in the apartment doing nothing. SO we headed off to wal mart to buy us our chirstmas tree!! We are POOR so we ended up getting a ten dollar tree that's 3 feet tall. We bought lights and then we started looking at ordinments and saw how muc they cost. So sarah and i came up with making our own =] We went and got candy canes cuz i was out ( i eat them like crazy!!!) and the i sarah brought up the idea of doing popcorn garlin!!! So we bought some popcorn and we ran into Jordan at the store and asked him if we could use his popcorn popper. We then headed off to FHE.

WE HAVE THE GREATEST FHE group EVER!!! We had a lesson which was really good then i had the activity. There was like 15 of us so i thought we should play spaz!!! No one had played it before so sarah and i taught them how to play. We all laughed soooo hard we were crying!!! Our host family gaves us bags of M&M's for the treat too!!

AFter we went over to the boys house (casey preston jordan and ryan's) and played there for a bit and got the popcorn popper. We came home and put the tree up in 3 seconds. Sarah put the lights and tree topper on it. The i sat and made the popcorn garlin. Kali was finding recipes because we are planning a FACNY dinner for us and maybe for dates. Preston came over and helped but really he just played gutiar hero. we made snow flakes out of paper to hang in our windows

Sooooooooooo Joel and I broke up!

Joel and i broke up.


lol Yes it is true. NO worries everything is GREAT!!! I've been having the feeling that i needed to break up with him for some time now.. i just wasn't sure that's what i really wanted. I guess i was just scared of what it would mean not to have joel around and have to go out and be social. I also have had a boyfriend most of my dating life and I was kind of scared of having to go out and date again. But with some help i was able to do it. Since i've been here, i've grown spiritually. I think that's why i was able to finally listen to the still small voice and rely on Heavenly Father to help me through the break up process..

You're prolly wondering why and my reasons for all this.... well, we were at the point of Should we get married or not? YES i would have been more then happy to be married to joel, but he wasn't a return missionary. There's a lot of controversy over the whole marrying a return missionary but my thing was, why would i want to be married to someone who didn't want to give up something for the Lord. IF he couldn't make the sacrifices now when he has nothing and doing nothing, what would he do when his family was at stake. Joel always told me he was going to go. So i accepted it. However, he has done NOTHING in order to go. Yes he has debt and he's working but he wants to buy a car and get even more in debt. He doesn't want to take missionary prep classes. He just seems to be dragging his feet more so then he should. So i took me out and now it's all on him to go.

Since the break up things have been mostly the same but with some differences. We are still best friends and we both care for each other. It's hard some days and easy others. We are both striving to do what the Lord wants for us. We may end up together. We both want that, it's just the time right now to make sure some stuff gets done.

Now i'm back in the dating life AHHHHHHHHH!!! lol with the semester almost over i'm not going out and trying too hard right now. I'm not really planning on going out and finding people either for next semester. The Lord knows what i need and what i can handle so i'm just going to have fun and not worry about "finding my Husband" like everyone else up here lol

OH 2 more friends are getting married in dec. that's 4 friends that were single at the start of the semester and 4 that will be married at the end. LOL gotta love EAC!!!

BATMAN RETURNS!

I was bored one night, sitting at home, and had a brilliant idea. My moped, other wise known as BATMAN!, needed something that made him batman. So i went online and found the batman logo and sat down to make one. IT turned out really good!!! I was proud of myself! I tried to make one so i could put the outline on my lights so that it would be like the batman spotlight... but it didn't work =[ He is still super cool though!!!!

It's getting reallly cold now so whenever i ride batman i have to wear a beannie, a jacket, a wind breaker, two pairs of gloves, jeans, high socks, shoes, and a scarf to wrap around my face. =]

surprise party!

A few Sunday's ago us girls were sitting at the table hanging out when there came a knock on the door. I answered it and it was our friends Casey and his fiance (sp?). Casey lives in apartment 101 with preston ryan and jordan. Those are the boys we go to for EVERYTHING!!! Ryan is one of our home teachers and Casey is the "PA" of our family home evening group. I have public speaking with preston and Jordan is just funny! We are all good friends. Well Casey was going around to all the apartments telling everyone that it was Jordan's birthday and to come say hi if we had time. Sarah was like oooo lets make him a cake. Kali, who loves to bake, said YAY and started looking through ALL her recipe books for a cake. Casey was like ooo cool that's nice of you, Jordan was talking about making him own cake so that will be good. Then sarah had the big idea of throwing him a surprise birthday party. We had random party stuff for some reason and kali and i were hyper so we were all excited about that idea. So we told casey to spread the word and after the fireside we'd have everyone come over to our place and have a party. Kali set away with making the cake. I picked up the apartment and got to decorating. Sarah had another big idea of using Fondant frosting. So we had to find a recipe to make some fondant. The girls stayed home from the fireside to finish the cake while i went by myself ( it was WAY WAY WAY good). Then i booked it home afterwards to make sure everything was set. half an hour later people started strolling it. WE had like 50 ppl crammed into out tiny apartment. Jordan was way surprised! it was HUGE hit!!!
