Last part of the trip

Bruce and i went for a walk on sunday and found this super cute place to take pictures. we both just had on comfy clothes but we still wanted to take pictures. Bruce's phone had the cool sepia look so we took all of them with it! Bruce is just so handsome!

This pretty butterfly was on the path we were taking so we took a picture. it was huge!

After our walk we went back and took a nap then syl and cliff took a nap so we went up the mountain and played with sticks. We each had a stick and were hitting all the dead sticks off the trees. We had so much fun! We felt like little kids just having fun and playing! Then we walked a little more up and found this pretty flower so i asked bruce to take a picture for me. He is amazing at taking pictures. he's never taken a class but for some reason they still all come out amazing!

We saw a bunch of trees with ppls initals at the campsite and bruce was all yeah i'm pretty sure its aganist the law. I was a little sad cuz i have ALWAYS wanted to carve my initals in a tree.. and with a boy whom i love. But he didn't want to. Then i saw a tree that had fallen and was all.. hey we could do it in this tree... he just ignored me and the next thing i know he has a rock and carving in a tree.

BB and KH in a heart! I love it!!! He was all excited about it. he has always wanted to do as well. I was so happy! i love it!!! and its at syls cabin so we can visit it any time we want =]

Best 4th weekend ever!!!

One day in june i said to bruce, " So i know its like a month away but can we plan what we are doing for the 4th of july?" Bruce being the oh so amazing boyfriend that he his, pulled out his phone and said, "have you ever been to the rodeo?" I said no and he said we were going to Springerville for the 4th! The planning started from there. He's family planned on going up and camping and my friend syl has a cabin in Geer so they planned on going up with us too. My camera broke so i was at the mercy of everyone taking pictures... there are A TON more to come... i just have to wait for them.

Oh and bruce and i got into an accident. We left home about 5 in the morning with his brother danny. We passed globe (we missed the turn off and kept going to safford) Danny wanted me to plug something in for him but i was doing my makeup and my ever helping boyfriend looked down to do it for me and as we rounded a corner we saw a truck sitting in the middle of the road waiting to make a left hand turn. We didn't have enough room to stop so bruce slammed on his brakes and swerved into on coming traffic ( a 18wheeler was coming but had plenty of time to pull off and stop) we ended up hitting their back left bumper with our front right bumper. The truck did a 180 and flipped on its side. Everyone in our car was safe and sound. the other couple got air vaced to tuscon for precaution. Bruces car was totaled which was sadness for him. Thankfully syl's parents live in globe so her dad came and picked us up. We had to wait for his sister and bro in law to pick us up on their way to springerville. THe funny thing about it was bruce and i just talked the day before about car accidents. i told him i was over a year free of being in an accident. thats the longest i've gone since i started driving. Then we go and hit that car. At least this time it wasn't my car!!!!

His parents and family set up camp in geer. It was the perfect spot!!! The weather was amaing!
They had a hammock set up and i made bruce swing with me. Sam wanted to play too =]

Tom is Bruce's youngest brother. He had the great idea of making himself a swing. IT was just rope tied to the trees. it hurt is butt real bad! haha

Sam had a ton of fun! He fell into the fire pit (w/o fire in there) trying to get his ball... then he fell over the log.. then he fell in the ice chest and the lid closed on him and we could only see his feet. It was so funny! there is even a warning on the ice chest that say. WARNING KIDS MAY FALL INTO ICE CHEST AND NOT BE ABLE TO GET OUT. sooo funny!

It was so pretty there! not far from camp there was a cute little creek flowing. We all went for a walk. At the very top of the creek there were a bunch of.....

They grossed me out! Tom being the 14 year old boy that he is had fun playing with them

I did end up picking one up but it was gross. we all had fun playing with them!!

Prescott retreat

Bruce and I went on his ward retreat up in prescott. This is our signature pose! Every single one of bruce's mission pictures he is doing this! I make fun of him then when we went to take a picture i was like can we do the brazil pose?! He didn't want to cuz i was doing it just to make fun of him. But we did it anyway! Now every time we take pictures i'm going to make us to this pose! i love it! bruce has the pose down perfect.. i'm still working on placing my arm correctly and smiling the right way!!! I'll get it though!
We went on a hike and walked passed this tiny hydrant. i thought it was sooo cute i made bruce take a picture with it!
Bruce was stretching while he was waiting for me to climb up to where he was and i thought it was funny so i made him keep the pose =]

We went back down to the valley cuz there was a fireworks show. I LOVE FIREWORKS! This is my attempt to document our first fireworks show together. We were right under the fireworks. I was sooo excited!

The hott cousins!

Frozen Yogurt anyone?

Bruce i went to mojo yogurt one night. You dispense your own amount of frozen yogurt then go to a table of toppings and put whatever you want on it.
Bruce and i had lots of fun with this! there was cap'n crunch and oreos and cookie dough bites, fresh fruit, chocolate chips, yogurt chips, m&m's. name it they had it!

We put EVERYTHING on ours... it was a grand total of 19.9 oz! it costed us like $8 but it was soooo yummy!!!! we had cake flavor so all the toppings went with that one. The orange one wasn't so good with the toppins and pisaticho wasn't good period but bruce liked it! we are going to go back soon =]

ICE CREAM!

Bruce and I went to an antique mall and when were there they had a ton of ice cream makers. We saw a really old one that you have to hand crank. I told bruce i wanted it! The next day he went back and found this beauty! it looks old fashion but you don't have to crank it! The first attempt at ice cream failed. Jess didn't know you didn't put the ice with the salt in the ice cream. OH well! next time we'll get!!

I miss my baby!!!

Kaci and bruce's nephew Sam spent the afternoon with us. We took them to the park so they could play and feed the ducks
They looked liked twins! They were so cute playing on the playground together!
Bruce and i were walking towards the pond with the kids and i was like hmmm... bruce do we look old enough to have twins? Kaci is only a few months older then sam and they both have blonde hair and blue eyes. I thought it was pretty funny!
She is tooo cute!! I miss her already! We had tons of fun playing!
What are they looking at? No clue!
We brought a huge bag of popcorn to feed the ducks. Dan bruce's little bro works at theater and he gets all the left over popcorn.
