Up to visit the parents

I had the weekend off and the girls are done with school and Kevin took Friday off.. so we all headed up to Prescott. I was happy because i got to watch my Christmas movies! it just isn't Christmas if you don't watch home alone 1 and 2 and serendipity! on sat we drove down to anthem outlets and looked around. All in all it was a very pleasant trip.











While watching a movie, i taught brooke how to french braid! It was a success!

BONFIRE.. and not in thatcher!

Sarah had a couch they found in the dumpster and an old chair so we thought we would have a bonfire! If you look closely you can see we burned some old clothes too! WE covered he couch in gas.. then light it! OH man was it HUGE! a heilocopter even came over over to see what had happened! we were scared at first but it was nothing.

?!?!?!?

Sometimes i get into these ruts where i just can't handle my life, NOTHING is happening right now!!! i HATE the waiting periods! I hate that the only thing happening is work! I am one of those people that hate working. I'm sure there are a ton of people who hate working, but i for one truly don't see any point to it. Maybe cuz i'm working in a Deli, but even thinking about becoming a nurse... i don't want to acually WORK as a nurse, i just want to know that i accomplished the schooling to be a nurse. Does that make sense? I don't see work as something that makes my life fulfilling. I like my job, but i dread going in every day. I feel like i'm wasting my time working, but i have to work to have money.

I love living with the Listers because they are the only thing thats keeping me happy. Sylvia has a "boyfriend" (not yet but i'm sure he will be soon) so thats ALL she talks about and now i have to share her with him. =[ All my other friends live to far away to see on a regular basis. I'm also not dating anyone either. Joel is kind of hanging around, but that whole thing just makes me sad.. why? cuz i'm head over heels for the kid and would love to be with him FOREVER! but thats only half of me, the other half says he's NOT the one i'm suppose to be with. So i can't fully love him which sucks but i also can't let him go. that makes it hard to date other ppl.. which there aren't any but if there were, because i want them to know me like joel does..but joel and i grew up together so it will take awhile to get to know someone else.

Next semester i will not be attending school. why you ask? For yet another reason i'm not sure about, i feel like i shouldn't. I want too! but then again i wanted to stay in utah. I don't regret coming home. I know it was what i was suppose to do. So i'm not going to attend school and just work. I was thinking of trying to find another job and work like i did during the summer, but i don't want to. Then again, i don't want to just sit at home when i'm not working. I was thinking of volunteering at the Hopsital. I think that it would be good for me to see what it would be like to be a nurse, and it will be serving people which always makes me happy.

I'm trying to find things that can keep me busy but find stuff that i really want to do. I found out today that i am a extremly lazy person and i don't have any patience. I want to work on both.. but i'm lazy and don't have patience lol. I'm still have a mission in mind but i'm in a waiting period for that as well. A- i can't go yet i'm not 21, B- i don't have the funding as of now to go( its hard for me to save money, i like spending it!!) Right now i'm into working out but i'm lazy and don't have the push that i need to do real work outs, So i'm going to make a purchase of P90X! I'm thinking if i could get through the 90 day work out then maybe i'd learn some dicpline, and i'd be healthy. Then if i can do this volunteer thing at the hopsital and work at Fry's then maybe i could make it through this loooong waiting period until i can go on a mission. The only thing that SUCKS is yes, i have to wait to do those things. I can't do anything i want to do RIGHT NOW! uuuggghhh!!! i have to wait until next week to purchase P90X cuz its a little pricey and my check this week a baby! AND i have to wait to do the volunteer cuz i have to send in my application, wait for them to call me, go through an orientaion then they set up an apointment to see if i still want to do it. SOOOOO again i'm waiting.
The only thing i can do is spend money, but i don't have that much to spend so that's not even fun!!


I know this is just a big post of me complaining.. but oh well. Now you know my feelings. I'm sure A million ppl have gone through this, advise would be nice. =] i'm waiting ( yes waiting again!) for the library to open so i can get another book to read. Thats my solace right now.. reading!

I'm not sure about some of the girls since i've lost track of them but crazy how the time flies. I must say i think i look SO cute when my bun braids. hahah what was i thinking!?!?

twilight..the movie..

aunt marsha and i spent all day thursday making shirts for twilight.. jessie bought one.. but we didn't want to spend the money. We all went to the midnight showing of it.. All i have to say is... BOOO!! Forget the movie and just read the book.. you'll like it so much more. if you haven't read the book, or seen the movie.. don't ruin the book by seeing the movie. READ THE BOOK FIRST if you really want to see the movie. i'm sure your head will make a better show of it then what the movie does. Yes i know it was a budget flim.. but come on! edward is dreamy right.. not that guy.. the acting stunk! it seemed like it took forever, yet it went through the book really fast. will i ever watch it again.. No will i read the book again (i've already have read it twice) YES! sorry if you liked it. I didn't!! i'm glad i got to go see it at midnight with my aunt and couins though!! THANKDS AUNT MARSHA!!!

Temple lights!

So as you prolly alredy know, the Mesa temple has Chrismas lights each year. This year i found out that my singles ward helps to put up the lights! HOW COOL IS THAT?!?! i was so excited to be apart of making the temple lights happen. So i talked my friend into coming with me and we all helped out. We helped put the lights all around the front lawn. it wasn't a BIG task, but without us it would have taken them a long time to do and we got to make it pretty!!

We put in post all around the lawn (the ones in the wheel barrow... no clue who the guy is).. i think we each did about... hmmm 5 or 6.

















we had a blast.. we didn't string in the lights because it was really complicated.. we weren't sure we would get it right.. plus we were hungry and i had to go to work.. so we went to pete's fish and chips!

bre told us about an 80's dance out in phoenix so of course we went!!! who doesn't love dressing up 80's style!?!?! we sure do!!!

RAW chicken grosses me out!!!!!!

I've always had a weird thing about raw chicken.. maybe i picked it up from kim... i don't know. I don't eat chicken on the bone. I just can't do it! I always had my mom pick it off so i could eat dinner. You may be thinking... you don't live with your mom.. what do i do? I DON'T MAKE CHICKEN WITH BONE IN IT!!! i always buy boneless chicken.. a little more expensive... soooo worth it!! I'll eat chicken wings.. but only if they have a dark sauce like BBQ but i still can't look at it while i eat it and I leave a lot of chicken on it.


Its so bad, that in high school my bio teacher said we were going to do dissect chicken wings. I was like, hmm i don't do raw chicken so i'll just watch. He pulled it out and was showing us how the joint worked and i almost threw up!!! I couldn't even handle watching him touch it, let a lone cut it open!! GROSS!! (i'll cut up and touch cow, rat, pig, look at cadavers, just not raw chicken!!)

wondering where this is leading?!?! Today was my first day working at frys! So far i like it, but guess what my one of my first jobs was today?!





















i had to get the whole chicken (the ones for the roisterer) and put my hand inside, pull out the fat, the grab a leg, poke a hole through the skin with my thumb, stick a leg in, then cross the other leg to tie them together! I THOUGHT I WAS GOING TO DIE! it was hard for me to touch it at first but i just thought about tying a shoe so it wasn't bad. Some at the end i couldn't keep the shoe in my head and could just see the chickens. I was SOOO happy when i finished!!!

THEN i had to clean the breasts, thighs, legs and wings. when ever i touched the bones i would gag! it was sooooo gross. I thought by the end of doing it, i could handle the raw chicken and maybe even start buying the chicken with the bone to cook with (since it is cheaper) BUT NO! i will forever HATE chicken on the bone and i'm sure i will never get over it!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm dying to dye my hair dark brown again because i like that color the best. However, i'm still in mind of going on a mission next year so i need to keep it as natural as i can so there isn't any keep up while i'm gone. One of the first things i'll do when i get home is color it! =]

I love halloween but i didn't do much. Jessica throw a party for her friends so i dressed up as a plam reader and read everyones hands for them.

I got some fake eyelashes and a cool tattoo for my face. I had fun wearing it!!

Halloween is one of my holidays! i love dressing up and CARVING pumpkins!! WE went to walmart and got HUGE pumpkins (except brooke got a tiny one) for only $4! Sylvia came over and we spent the night carving. We got the little cheat sheets and made cool ones this year!
