Shout out to TIA!!

Tia was my high school athletic trainer. I was a student trainer with her for almost 4 years. I learned more with her then i have in any of my college classes. Don't believe me?!?! Well ill prove it!

I started anatomy this semester. Everyone who has taken it says it has kicked their butts! They says it;s one of the hardest classes... You have to study a ton and you can't miss class at all. You need flash cards and study groups just to pass with maybe a good grade. I have been looking forward to this class since i had advance bio as a senior in high school. I was ready and willing to put in all the time i needed for this class. The first week or so was about chemistry which i took last semester so it was a review. then my teacher announced the hard stuff was starting and to start working hard. I was ready. Right now we are learning the bones of the body. Everyone was freaking out in lab when they saw the bones we needed to learn. I looked at the list with about 50 bones. I knew about 38 of them already.

I remember sitting with tia on the golf cart during the softball week of tournaments and her pointing to every bone and drilling me on them. I knew all the bones by the end of freshmen year. We started learning about the skin and bones and injuries. I was so very bored on friday in class because the teacher sat and explained every fracture a bone can get. I learned that like the 1st semester of my freshman year!

So far i've studied for 10 mins before each quiz and test and i'm passing with an A. It's all because of Tia and the things she taught me my high school years. i think i spent more time with her then anyone else during high school. She taught me the most and because of her i'm breezing on through one of the hardest classes i'll have to take. THANKS TIA!!! your the greatest!!!!
