Sundance is very sick

This is going to be long.. but i promise it's entertaing but has a sad ending

I headed out to my aunt sandie's on friday since i didn't have school and had to work at 1. I thought i'd go and talk to my bro.

We left so i could get home for work and as we were getting ready to turn at the light my car stalled. I thought it was weird since i stall maybe twice a year. I tried turning it on and nothing happened. The car behind us was blaring on his horn, The radio was cranked up and i couldn't tell if the car was turning on or not. I turned off the radio turned on my blinking hazard lights and waited for the annoying car behind to go around me. The car still didn't turn on. I got out and check my oil and water. it was good. I just put oil in it on monday. Garrettt called aunt sandie and i called dad. Some guy drove up and and asked me to turn it on and said it sounded like a fuel pump. BY this time a moving truck like car showed up and saw that we needed help so he got out to help.

We had to push sundance back to the house which wasn't too far. I was talking to dad on the phone, trying to push my car and steer at the same time. I found out that when pushing your car to leave your keys in otherwise your wheel will (hehe that sounds funny) lock up and you wont be able to turn it. Once we got it headed back to the house garrett and i started pushing it and the moving truck guy followed in his car and aunt sandie in hers. We got it going and started to go down hill. I jumped into the car so i could steer and garrett was running behind it... he wasn't wearing tight enough shoes and his feet caught and he fell and rolled into the dirt. thankfully aunt sandie retrieved him and they followed along. You must remember that i am on the phone with dad trying to explain whats going on and i'm wearing flip flops. the car slowed down and i saw a hill approching so i figured i should jump out and keep the cars motion in order to make it up the hill. my estimation of the cars speed, my lack of control of steering and my shoes not being right and trying to talk on the phone all resulted in me falling and rolling in the street and sundance jumping the curve, I had i jump up fast to get back into sundance and press the breaks before she ran into a wall.

Thankfully people were walking and came to help push it back into the street.. the man who had been helping the whole time came to help push.. and a bunch of men going by in a truck came to help us push. We got it over the curve then had to push it up the hill and back to aunt sandies.

We made it back to the house and had to rush to meet aunt marsha half way since i was going to be late for work!!!

Sundance is still sick since i had to work today as well. Hopefully we will be able to get her into a shop and fixed very soon!!!

The only injuries were scraped knees and a hands and a bruised arm.

good news!!!

I found out today that i am one of the lucky people that was born WIHTOUT wisdom teeth!!! I kind of knew i would never get them cuz i just have a "young mouth" but there was still the dread that i might have them! I was mostly worried that A) i would have to end my streak of never having stiches and B) paying to have them removed before i could go on a mission!!

I don't have to worry about them and i am sooooo very grateful!! Thank you heavenly father for blessing with no wisdom teeth!!!!

The dentist

So I officially feel like an adult now. Why you ask? Well for the very first time in my entire life, A) I made a dentist appointment B) Went to the dentist appointment by myself C) Had to explain what was wrong by myself and D) had to pay for it myself!!!!

It didn't really hit me that I had never done anything medical by myself yet until I was sitting in the dental chair waiting for the dentist. I had the sudden urge for my mommy!!!! At work as I was thinking back on this, I realized that my last doctor appointment was my freshman year of college for my physical to play soccer at GCC. My dad took me and then afterward we went out for ice cream. NO dad this time.. no ice cream!!!

It felt kind of liberating to do all these things, but on the other hand it sucks. No more getting the work done and not thinking about price and how to pay for it. The dentist brought me the paper work and showed me the price to see if i could afford it. Without having insurance, lets just say my savings is now depleted and i have to start that all over again. I've always wanted to be grown up and to do these things. now i am.. i love it!! even if it sucks paying for it myself... but on the other hand, half of me misses my daddy and going out for ice cream afterward!!!


Thanks mom and dad for all you have done for me! Its true that as you get older you really do appreciate your parents so much more. I never realized how much i'd miss you guys going with me to things like Dr appointments. Thanks for paying for me and taking all the worry about money and not showing me the bills growing up. I don't think i would have my excitement to grow up if i had had to share in the worry of money growing up. I miss you both but i'm grateful that i get this chance to learn about being an adult. I always wondered how you guys knew so much! Its cuz you lived it and had to learn it yourselves. It makes me happy to think i'm learning and growing and becoming that you guys more and more each year!! I LOVE YOU!! thanks again for everything!!!!!

My cousins!

I love my cousins! I don't know what i would do without them! Especailly since both of my sisters live so far away from me! I love living with them. its just like being young again and having kim and kerri around. We always have a blast together. The things they come up with make me laugh! I'm glad i'm here for their sake and their parents. I sit and listen to them fight and yell about stuff and i can relate to the girls and i know what they feel... it wasn't that long ago that i was in high school and a teenager. BUT, now i can see what my aunt and uncle are saying and see where they are coming from. I"m right in the middle of them and can see both sides. Its weird at times. Some times i want to side with the girls and times i want to side with my aunt and uncle. I help out my aunt and uncle then try to explain to the girls what and why they are saying what they are saying. These girls are more like my sisters then cousins. I love them very much and am so grateful i get to live with them! they help me more then i help them i think!!!

My valentines

So I told this guy I would go with him to a concert in tucson on valentines day. He is an old friend of the family and i didn't think it would be that weird. WRONG! He is a very quiet guy and had noting to say to me the whole night.




The concert was Andrew bird. He was amazing! you should look him up! The concert was the best i had ever been too! But it didn't make up for the night!













Thankfully my sister responded to my text message and she talked to me during the night.THANK YOU KIM!!! I LOVE CELL PHONES!! She pointed out that she never had the luxury of texting when she was dating. What would i have done without texting on this date!!!

It goes without saying, that dating is no bueno and lots of work. For all you married folk you best be happy with the one you got, cuz otherwise you'd be in my boat going on very awkward dates! =]

Wedding

Chris and sheree got married yesterday! It was a very pretty wedding. I was there for the ceremony but then had to leave to attend a concert. I think it turned out to be a very nice wedding!

Wild cherry

Brooke has decided to call me wild cherry... why do you ask...



I dyed my hair auburn brown! It turned out REALLY red.. i thought i grabbed the dark auburn but i guess not. My hair has never been this red before. I kind of like it though. Its staying until the next dye job in about... hmm 2 months. what do you think?

SUPERBOWL!

I didn't get to watch he superbowl (only the last 5 mins) because i had to work. I was sad but when i went online to watch The office at hulu.com i saw they had all of the commercials that were on during the game!! YAY here were the ones i liked.... my favorite is the very last one for those that don't want to watch all of them! ENJOY
